1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Gene2AI ("the Service"), operated by OmicsIO PTE LTD, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. The Service is available at gene2.ai and provides genomic data analysis, health data management, and related AI-ready data services.

2. Description of Service

Gene2AI provides the following services:

Genomic Analysis: Processing of raw genetic data from 23andMe, AncestryDNA, and WeGene to generate structured, AI-ready JSON output covering health risks, drug response, traits, nutrition, and ancestry.
Health Data Vault: A centralized platform for uploading, storing, and managing health documents (lab reports, medical records, checkup results) with AI-powered parsing to extract structured health indicators.
API Access: RESTful API endpoints for AI agents and applications to access your health data with Bearer token authentication.
Health Dashboard: Visualization tools for tracking health indicators over time with trend charts and analytics.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep your account information up to date.

4. Payment Terms

Genomic analysis is currently free during the Early Access period.
All features, including future updates and improvements, are available at no cost during Early Access.
Health Data Vault features (document upload, AI parsing, manual entry) are included at no additional cost for registered users.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Upload data that does not belong to you or that you do not have authorization to process.
Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
Share your API keys with unauthorized parties or use them in ways that violate these terms.
Abuse the API by making excessive requests that degrade service quality for other users.
Upload malicious files or attempt to exploit vulnerabilities in the Service.

6. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you upload to the Service, including genomic data, health documents, and health records. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not claim ownership of your data and will not use it for purposes beyond providing the Service without your explicit consent.

7. Medical Disclaimer

Gene2AI is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The genomic analysis results, health data visualizations, and AI-generated interpretations are for informational and research purposes only. They should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult with a qualified healthcare provider before making any health-related decisions based on information from the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OmicsIO PTE LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime in advance.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
